Department Function

• Maintains injury and accident information, claims process, and liaisons between employees, Legal staff, and Workers’ Compensation and Property & Liability insurance carriers.
• The Dillon County Safety Committee chairperson administers the County Safety Program and provides safety awareness to all county departments.
• Conducts facility safety inspections, assuring OSHA and DHEC compliance.
• Maintains driving records on Dillon County employees.
• Maintains a list of Dillon County Assets and conducts periodic inventories.
