Department Responsibilities
Responsible for performing various duties relating to County finance and purchasing activities of the Dillon County Government.
The Department oversees all financial matters involving County Government and coordinates procurement functions for goods and services to support the county's operational needs. The Department conducts the County’s financial business by establishing policies and procedures to best serve our citizens.
Along with overseeing County financial matters, the department is also responsible for performing duties related to routine and non-routine purchases, managing office supply inventory and central storage, assisting with preparing and awarding contracts, and assisting in vehicle/equipment maintenance contracts.

Any vendor doing business on County property is required to have certain Certificates of Insurance on file that meet County requirements. The specific type(s) and amount(s) will be displayed within the contractual agreements between the County and the primary vendor.
